    AUSTIN, TX, September 8, 2026 — Ambiq Micro, Inc. (“Ambiq®”), a technology leader in ultra-low-power semiconductor solutions for edge AI, today announced expanded support for the open-source Zephyr Project® Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) on its latest Apollo330 Plus and Apollo510 Lite Series SoCs. The expansion further strengthens Ambiq’s software ecosystem and makes it easier for embedded developers to bring existing workflows to Ambiq’s energy-efficient edge AI platforms. 

    The expanded Zephyr support is part of Ambiq’s continued investment in a broader, more accessible software ecosystem for edge AI development. It gives embedded developers greater flexibility to use existing software and familiar development workflows with the Apollo330 Plus and Apollo510 Lite Series, helping reduce migration effort while opening a path to the energy efficiency of Ambiq’s latest SoCs. 

    With Zephyr support, developers can combine a familiar open-source development environment with the energy efficiency enabled by Ambiq’s proprietary SPOT® platform (Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology platform). Alongside Ambiq’s HELIA™ AI ecosystem, this expanding software foundation gives developers greater flexibility to build, optimize, and deploy increasingly sophisticated edge AI workloads on Ambiq hardware.

    Zephyr support for the Apollo330 Plus and Apollo510 Lite Series builds on Ambiq’s existing support for the Apollo3 Family, Apollo4 Plus, Apollo4 Blue Plus, and Apollo510 SoCs, extending the open-source development environment across a growing range of Ambiq devices.
