Rising compute performance, particularly those devices that require very little power, have pushed more compute capabilities to the endpoint, that place where the data is actually captured. If all (or most) computations can occur without having to come back to the Edge computer or the Cloud, actions can occur in real time and costs can be minimized. However, endpoint computing is not always the right action, as it depends on the application and what the end goal is.
In this session, Ambiq’s VP of AI, Carlos Morales, will look at the hardware that’s available to make endpoint computing a reality, and how, when, and where the Edge would be your best option.
